विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर, जिला रामरुद्र सीएम एसओई, बोकारो की टुकड़ी संख्या एयर 17 (बी) के कैडेटों द्वारा एक विशेष पौधारोपण अभियान चलाया गया। स्कूल परिसर में आम, जामुन, अमरूद, सीताफल, नीम आदि के कुल 111 पौधे लगाए गए। स्कूल परिसर में एक मिनी नर्सरी भी स्थापित की गई है।
इस अवसर पर विद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. संतोष कुमार, हरे कृष्ण बागबट्ट, डॉ. रवि भूषण, महेश महतो, मृत्युंजय कुमार, गुरप्रीत कौर, कविता कुमारी, रंजना कुमारी एवं NCC कैडेट्स और इको क्लब के सदस्य छात्र – छात्रा आदि उपस्थित रहे।
इसके साथ ही पौधारोपण और वनीकरण के लाभों के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए निबंध लेखन, कविता और वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया।
On the occasion of World Environment Day, special plantation drive were undertaken by cadets of Troop No. Air 17 (B), District Ramrudra CM SoE, Bokaro. A total of 111 saplings comprising of Mango, Java Plum, Guava, Custard Apple, Neem etc were planted in the school premises. A mini nursery has also been established in the school premises.
Also, essay writing, poetry and debate were organised to spread awareness regarding benefits of plantation and aforestation
